I would suggest adding an option to make this a bit less punishing, and add a modifier to reduce the likelihood of pregnancy as soon as you start getting positive income, and while I'm at it, maybe one day you guys will add more in-depth war elements and eventually able to start the Roman Empire. And the tax for unmarried children makes marriage usually a necessity. I love this game, and I agree difficulty should be hard, but I think my poor luck is unjustified and I think there should be some options to reduce the amount of pregnancies that happen as soon as you get positive income. As soon as I get my finances in order, with myself at property limit or little wealth but finally not losing income, pregnancy, then taxes and often a bad event. They don't have fertility boosting traits usually. I keep needing to use risky stuff to boost income but they keep backfiring instead, often in death or losing an eye or being mangled. ![]() ![]() I buy as much property as I can but my economics thing is always fairly low despite my best attempts at marriages.
